Location

Sarapiqui region is located in the northern part of Costa Rica, about 1.5 hours outside of San Jose by car.

It encompasses more than 2000 square kilometers, and temperature averages of 25 degrees and over 4000 millimeters of rainfall per year. This region host more  than 2000 species of plants, 120 different mammals, 500 birds, 85 reptiles and 50 amphibians.
